Patricia Stainer, Ph.D. completed her doctorate on theatre marketing, audience development and (non-)visitor research at the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich. Prior to this, she obtained a Master’s degree in Theatre Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Media Management. She has worked in the marketing and press department of the Deutsches Theater München; further work stations include the Bavarian State Opera, the Sydney Opera House and a musical theatre production company in NYC. She now works in consultancy, project management and communications in the cultural and non-profit sectors; among other things, she was responsible for organising the new Audience Success Conference in Munich (Nov 2024).
