Alexandra Moormann

Dr. Alexandra Moormann holds a degree in biology and is teacher of biology and physics. She completed her doctorate in biology education at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During her studies, she worked as an educator in the Botanical Garden of Osnabrück University and at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. There, she has been responsible for educational research since 2015 and has been part of the management team of the Education Department since 2025. Amongst others, her research interests include understanding of science through museum visits or citizen science projects and research on nature connectedness and experience. Since 2023, she has been leading the project „Chancen bilden” in Berlin.
