Oisín Kenny

Oisín Kenny (he/him) coordinates the Apollo Project, programmes for young people (ages 16–25) at the National Gallery of Ireland. He has spoken on youth engagement, youth led creative programmes, and the Gallery Youth Panel for Museum Next, Irish Museum Association, the Museum Association, and ENCATC. As part of the Apollo Project’s initial three years, he collaborated with six other young people to curate a one-of-kind exhibition titled Boring Art? He feels strongly about collaborating with communities to imagine and develop creative ways to share their stories. Oisín previously wrote for Ireland’s leading LGBTQ+ press Gay Community News (GCN). He holds an MA in Journalism from Dublin City University and a BA in English, Media, and Cultural Studies from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
