Jo Higgins is an Australian educator, researcher and public programmer. Her work focuses on informal, youth-centred engagement programs, museum best practice and arts partnerships. She has worked for organisations including Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, South London Gallery, Kaldor Public Art Projects and the National Gallery of Australia. Her research includes a 2018 Churchill Fellowship to investigate different models of informal learning and youth-led engagement as well as contributions to publications including Museum Teen Program How-To Kit (Walker Art Center, 2023) and the forthcoming Looking at Youth Programs in Art Museums from an International Perspective (Routledge, 2026).
