Nils Erhard

Nils Erhard was born 1985 in Berlin and studied political science, philosphy and sociology of education in Berlin and London. 2013 till 2022 Nils was part of the managing collecitve of  the community-theatre Theater X and worked as a dramaturg and project coordinator in numerous collecitve theatre, performance and artistic research projects in collaboration with the artist collective Club Al-Hakawati, cultural institutions like Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Schaubühne, DHM or ZK/U, amongst others, and numerous groups and organisations in the field of social- and community work. Since 2023 Nils works in the Education Department at Theater an der Parkaue and developed the project „Studio REALTALK” — an artistic research project with youth centers in Berlin-Hellersdorf, funded by the Berlin Senate as part of the „Jugendkulturinitiative”. Nils is interested in developing collective and emancipative cultural and political practices that dwell at the junction of art, education and organising community.
