Dimitra Christidou, Ph.D. (b. 1983) is a senior curator for education at the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Oslo, Norway. Apart from curating exhibitions, Dimitra works actively there with audience development and evaluation of exhibitions and learning. Dimitra holds a PhD in museum studies from UCL and has working experience as a research fellow in national and international projects. Her field of research expertise includes visitor studies, audience development and evaluation of museum exhibitions and learning resources using mainly qualitative methods. Dimitra has published extensively on the role of embodiment and social interaction in meaning making in museums.
