Registration and Cancellation

The conference fee is due upon registration and includes participation in the scientific program (including workshops, coffee breaks and lunch). Participation in the workshops is only possible in conjunction with full participation or a corresponding day ticket.

Registrations without simultaneous payment cannot be processed. Even if you were able to register online, this does not entitle you to participate. The booking will only be accepted after confirmation. The registration deadline for participants is Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Registrations/payments received after this date can no longer be processed. All fees are payable in Euro and all bank charges are the responsibility of the participants.

In the event of cancellation of the event by the organizer for organizational or other reasons (except in cases of force majeure), the fees paid will be refunded in full.

Cancellations can only be made in writing and will only be accepted if received by Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Cancellations received in written between April 1 and May 6, 2025 will be refunded a cancellation fee of 50% of the participation fee. Unfortunately, no refunds can be made after this date. A replacement person can be nominated for a processing fee of €25.00.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program.

Workshops

Important note: Registration for the workshops is only possible with a full booking or a day ticket for on-site participation at the conference.

The extensive workshop program offers a forum for experience, experimentation and exchange for workshop leaders and active conference participants. The content is often closely linked to the conference topics, but also offers the opportunity to learn about other areas. The number of participants is limited to 20–30 so that the workshops can be conducted efficiently.

The workshops are part of the conference content and can be purchased free of charge in addition to the conference ticket.

Photography/filming

Photographs and film recordings will be made throughout the event on behalf of the IKTf. By registering for the event and entering the event site, the participant authorizes the production, storage and publication of photographs and film recordings (personal data in the form of image data). The photographs and film recordings will be produced, stored and used for the following purposes:

• Presentation of the IKTf on the website and social media
• Presentation of the IKTf in the annual report and any publications relating to the Connected Audience Conference

The IKTf is entitled to grant the rights of use to the recordings to third parties, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, as long as the use serves the scientific purpose and is related to the event. It is prohibited to take photographs, film or make audio recordings during the entire conference without the express permission of the IKTf. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the rest of the event. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Liability

SKWK | IKTf shall not be liable for damages to participants if SKWK | IKTf is entitled to make changes to the event or cancel it in cases of force majeure or is obliged to do so due to official orders or for safety reasons. SKWK and the venue shall not be liable for property damage and financial loss caused by slight negligence. There is no liability for typical and unforeseeable consequential damage — except in the case of intent. The above limitations of liability also extend to the personal liability for damages of employees, representatives, vicarious agents and third parties who are used in connection with the organization of the event or with whom a contractual agreement has been concluded for this purpose. In general, no liability is assumed for items stored or brought along.

Data protection

The collection, storage and processing of your personal data is essential for your registration for the above-mentioned congress. This is done solely for the purpose of organizing and running the event. Your data will only be passed on to third parties who are directly involved in the conference process and if the organizational process makes this necessary. Our company handles all personal data in accordance with the provisions of the European GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act.
